Easements and Covenants on Title

Easements

Easements, also known as 'rights of way', can be expressly granted by completing a deed of easement. Rights of way can also be surrendered and varied by way of completing a deed of surrender or a deed of variation. 

Covenants

Many properties are affected by covenants registered against the title to a property which can oblige the property's owner to do, or not to do, something. As with easements it is also possible to surrender and vary covenants. 


We can advise you on granting, surrendering and varying covenants where the affected persons agree to the same.
